Jul 6: The sixth round of Foreign Office Consultations (FoC) between India and Georgia were held on 06 July 2022 in Tbilisi. The Indian side was led by Shri Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West) and the Georgian side was led by H.E. Mr. Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
During the FoC, both sides reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations, including political, economic, cultural, tourism, education and consular matters. The two sides also exchanged views on global issues and the security situation in their respective regions, and agreed to enhance cooperation in the multilateral fora.
It was agreed to hold the next round of consultations in New Delhi at a mutually convenient date.
