Mahender Singh Kanyal appointed as Ambassador of India to Syria

Feb 16: Shri Mahender Singh Kanyal has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Syrian Arab Republic

He is currently serving as the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Suriname. He replaces Dr. Hifzur Rahman.

He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
