Oct 07: The Ministry of External Affairs has been conducting the Special Campaign 3.0. The main focus areas of the Campaign include effective disposal of public grievances, references from Members of Parliament, Parliament assurances, cleanliness drive, disposal of scrap and weeding out of files.
The Campaign started with a preparatory phase from 15th-30th September 2023 to identify targets to be taken up for cleaning during the implementation phase starting from 2nd October 2023 till 31st October 2023. During the campaign, special emphasis is being given to achieving space management and enhancement of workplace experience in offices along with beautification of offices.
On the launch of month-long Special Campaign 3.0, the Ministry of External Affairs, Regional Passport Offices, Indian Missions /Posts Abroad, Branch Secretariats and its subordinate offices in India reiterated their commitment to improving current cleanliness levels in the office premises, disposal of scrap/waste materials, ensure timely disposal of public grievances and reduce the pendency of work in the offices and to utilise social media to amplify this message.
The Campaign started with the taking of the Swacchata pledge by officials of the Ministry /Indian Missions /Posts abroad, Branch Secretariats and its subordinate offices in India. All offices under the control of the Ministry are enthusiastically participating in the campaign to achieve the targets set by the Ministry.
