Aug 14: Shri Vikram Kumar Doraiswami has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh
The 1992 IFS officer is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry. He shall replace Riva Ganguly Das who has taken charge as the next Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs.
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
