Bengaluru, February 28, 2020: Sami-Sabinsa Group, a pioneer and global leader in health science, was honoured with three awards by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) at the 3rd edition of their Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care Awards held in New Delhi on February 28, 2020.
ASSOCHAM acknowledged Sami-Sabinsa Group’s Founder & Chairman, Dr. Muhammed Majeed, for his immense contribution towards shaping the Indian Cosmeceutical industry by presenting him with the “Legend of Natural Cosmeceuticals” award. In addition, the Group received accolades for “Best Personal Care Product of the Year 2020” for its premium beauty product – Johara® Turmeric Bath Soap and “Best Cosmetic Ingredient Manufacturer of the Year” for Sami Labs Limited (a part of Sami-Sabinsa Group).
Commenting on the personal recognition, Dr. Majeed said, “It’s a tremendous honour to receive this award from ASSOCHAM. The Sami-Sabinsa Group was previously honoured by ASSOCHAM in 2018 with the “Excellence Award for Best Raw Material / Ingredient Supplier,” and the Johara Cosmetics division with the “Excellence Award for Best Cosmetics Company” at the organization’s second edition event held in New Delhi.
